Today I had to say goodbye to a old furry friend. Sam has been a member of our family for 20 years and he will be missed.
I headed back to Leeds and bought a few things to cheer myself up. Fancy juice, madeleines and a bunch of hyacinth. This evening I'm going to make a start on shooting images for my next look book. I'll be shooting in a different way to what I normally do so I'm hoping it turns out ok! Luckily I've got a friend helping me - if it goes well expect to see the images some point over the weekend!
Anyone who has a furry friend in their life go give them a hug please!
I'm sorry to hear about Sam, but it sounds like he had a great life. 20 years! I hope you're okay x
ReplyDeleteUrgh, that is the worst :( My old cat Luther was 20 years old when he died, and super sick really, so it was time, but it still sucks. Glad Sam had a really nice long life. My cats get about a hundred cuddles a day, but today they can have 101 :)

this makes me so sad. i'm sorry, lauren :(
ReplyDeleteon a happier note, i can't wait to see your lookbook, and i already know it will be beautiful! with the trees budding and the flowers blooming, all i could think about today was doing a lookbook, but no one ever wants to model for me!
I'm so sorry! It seem as as Sam had a full, well-loved life.
ReplyDeleteOh, so sorry! Goodbyes are the hardest thing. At least he led a long happy life. Hyacinths are lovely, good choice :)
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing the lookbook!
Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry about your cat! I am going to be a wreck when that time comes for my furry babies. Sending lots of hugs from San Diego.
