Fallen Colossus & a bit of rambling.
I think these are my two favourite shots from the Fallen Colossus photoshoot.
You can check out their demo on bandcamp.
Other things...
Wax Bar & Juke Joint - the bar I shot some photos for - now have a twitter account. Follow them, harass them etc. If you want to see more of the photos I shot on the opening night check out their facebook page.
I'm in love with the new Deer Tick album. If you haven't heard it you can stream it for free here. I guess they're best described as alt-country/Americana with a load of balls. Check it out! And here's one of the guys from the band talking about his favourite things over on spin.com
Need something to listen to while you're working? Listen to Deadbeat Radio. This episode is Halloween themed and among other things features music from some awesome local bands. I'd love to know what you guys think to it.

They want to burn the witches inside us...
I fancied listening to some of the music I spent my teens listening to. THANK YOU YOUTUBE.

Righteous.
A couple of weekends ago I stumbled down to Righteous at Sela Bar to watch some of my favourite bands play together.
Unfortunately the lighting in the bar is terrible. And red! So it's pretty hard to take photographs in there. Although to be honest I'm often too busy enjoying myself to worry about taking photos.
It's been a bit quiet round here recently due to the fact that I've been ridiculously busy - but I'm hoping next week to get back to normal and bring back I fucking love it Monday and outfit post Wednesday.

All tomorrow's parties...
Last night I went to a gig at Santiago put on by TNS & Hempen Jig.
Six bands played including Bootscraper and X Ray Cat Trio. It was an excellent night - as expected! The bands were awesome, everyone was there, some dancing happened, sloe gin was consumed.
These are some silly candid photos I took - tomorrow I'll put up photos of the bands and stuff!
Have you guys been to any good gigs recently? Tell me about them!

Diana Mini.
I'll be the first person to admit that the Diana Mini is pretty ropey camera. However... it seems to have become my go-to camera due to it's tininess and how light it is. I often throw it in my bag if I'm heading out.
This is the first time I've used it at a show. I decided to shoot some photos to finish off a roll of film and just hoped for the best! I'm actually quite pleased with how they turned out.
I'm not sure what film I used but they're cross processed. I used the flash and had the shutter set to the 'B' setting.
